PATIENCE, TRUST AND GOOD CARE
We are very fond of our moose and do everything we can to ensure that they have a good life here with us at Viltgården. As a center of expertise for moose, we have a duty and a unique opportunity to study and learn about moose routines and peculiarities.

We want to share this knowledge with everyone, and with it contribute to the best possible management of wild stocks in Norway.

Our moose are born and raised in the park, and from the time they are small calves we follow them closely through adolescence and see how they develop into great bulls or cows. Under the expert guidance of our experienced zookeepers, you will experience the moose in a safe and natural environment. Join an adventure you'll forget and discover what it really means to have a heart for moose!

The moose park is open for visits in June, July and August, from 11am-4pm.
The moose are fed at 12.00.

A COOPERATION - TROLL ACTIVE AND THE WILD FARM
We've teamed up with Troll Aktiv to create an exclusive experience.

Elksafari is a pleasant evening trip in a minibus to see moose in the terrain, combined with a visit to Viltgården for a closer look at the king of the forest. Here you can get close to the moose and join the feeding of them. Skilled guides provide detailed information about the animals along the way.
